Default UPDATE #42...The Beast will be on track in 12 days! Paint scheme is complete. PICS !!

A big thank you again to Adam Boca as the the vision becomes clearer.

The car returned from paint a second time for some minor adjustments that were made.

It still needs a few more touches. The hood scoop which will be black, also the brake vents, marker lights and other accent areas.

The hood and front fascia are attached just for picture purposes. The rubber stops still need a little tweaking so it will sit flush. Currently it's about a 1/4 inch too high. This is a 2 minute fix. The panels will be flush next week.

The racing number will be a different size and moved.

Remember there is still a little more detail going into the exterior that will complete some of the empty spots on the car so don't panic yet.

Next week the headlights and windshield wiper get wired. The Sequential needs a minor adjustment.

The track opens in 12 days and the Beast will be in the pits ready to go.

I'll need plenty of seat time to prepare for Katech Track Attack 2008 coming up shortly!

It will not be long before we are all sniffing fumes!

See you guys soon!

Mike

Short Throw (Mike?) I got my invite for Katech Track Attack 2008 today! If I get the time off approved (99% chance) one of the things I am looking forward to the most is checking out "The Beast" in person. You'll recognize me by the drool and the begging (for a ride) Muzzman (Mike)

You could not have come up with a better name.
That thing is amazing. Not even going to ask what a project like that costs.

So, why did you decide not to open up the fender vents in the body paneling?

Thank you!!!

Those numbers have been driving me NUTS!

Be careful while clearing out the cobwebs so you don't do any spring plowing before we get there for the Katech Track Attack!

As always , impressive! Congratulations!

Dean
