UPDATE #30...A Close Look At The Pratt&MIller Wing...Possibly 4 Days Away. PICS !!!
This update will focus on the Pratt & Miller Wing. I've shown a few pics here and there, but these shots will give you a better idea. It's hard to capture the right angle because the car is still on the lift, but with tires on it in the next 48 hours you will see how natural it flows.

UPDATE #29...The final touches are being put in place. She'll be free soon....PICS!!
All the engine bay work is complete. Final touches will be put on the radiator shroud tomorrow.
The circuit breakers have been added along with the traction control, and a few other switches. The brake bias and remaining switches will be added tomorrow as well. The backing will eventually be CF.
The rear quarters still have to be screwed down. The rear Lexan is in, and the hatch has been pinned.
The hole you see where the license plate goes is actually filled with the diff and trans cooler. I posted pics of this in Update #29.
I'm still considering what to do with the fins on the wing in terms of design. What you see will not be permanent. Those corners are sharp and can easily lop off a shoulder.
The Carbon Fiber weave shows great contrast with the yellow.
Can anybody guess what function the device in the rear hatch has?
You can really see the detailed CF in this shot. This wing is completely adjustable for different applications.
One last look at her rear! Enough to make any woman jealous!
I do not imagine there will be many more updates in terms of fabrication. We believe this car will be on track.....ready?.........this Saturday! That leaves the next three days to photo capture the complete car. There will be many things done over the Winter, like anodizing certain parts, swapping AL parts for CF, etc... The main goal right now is to get this thing running. I will worry about the final cosmetic changes later on.
I will do my best to get some initial video trackside, but the first few days will be shake out sessions. A friend of mine said, Who cares? As long as it's moving any speed that's fine by me!
She'll be reeking havoc soon!
Mike

Mike,
That wing reminds me of the 787 Boeing just rolled out (and we have parts on it)! I wonder who is the aerodynamicist on the airfoil design? Definitely black art stuff.
How about some pics of the front splitter and under tray that counterbalances the significant downforce this monster will develop?
No superlatives left to describe this creation...
Good luck!
Dean
PS: Hoosiers are on, track Thursday!

This is my first time checking out this section of the forum. I couldn't ask for a better post to click on. What an AWESOME build!
I really appreciate your attention to detail and I can't even find the words for the way it sounds. I'm glad I didn't listen to that vid in a coffee shop because they would have run me out of the place due to all the drooling I was doing!
I'm looking forward to the on track videos. Have a great time with it. You deserve it!

The Pratt & Miller wing looks great, very well constructed. How hard was it to install? I have been in contact with two other manufacturers about their wings. Great detail

The engine compartment is a work of art. Very clean.
Rounding the edges of the rear wing slats is a great idea.
You need to buy a label-mate to put instructions on all those toggle switches.
Glad you thought of the air-conditioning system too.

....Exactly....
Get the thing on the track. Let us know how it went LATER.
