Well, it's been a busy week. All body panels are in. Anyone that has actually picked up a CF Z06 fender knows how light this stuff is. This car may need ailerons and flaps!

Don't get all worked up that nothing lines up. This is simply a mock dressing. The car actually made it to it's own rack late in the day where it will await assembly. First up will be suspension.

I could just leave it like this.....unpainted. Gives it that raw angry look.

The body looks great!!!!!!!!!! Now all you need is a motor, trans, wheels, brakes, seats, glass, ect, ect. you get the idea. Little steps it must be killing you. JD

This is gonna be one sweet car, now that the panels are coming together -- its easy to see where its headed. Very nice!

David the complete body is CF. If the body weighs more than 100lbs, it's not by much.

I love the hood. It's a completely different look from in front of the car versus inside it.

C'mon Joe,

There's plenty of color here.

The fenders are Black,
Most of the body is Gray.
The painters tape is Blue
The interior is Yellow
The cabinet on the wall is Red.

I think it's a pretty good mix!

One of the many fun things in life is watching your friend's projects that make them happy. You will not be disappointed with the Katech motor and the car looks FANTASTIC! I know the wait is killing you but that is what life is really all about. Most of the time the best rewards are those we give ourselves and, Mike, you deserve the best. Thanks for continuing to show us your project. Most would not take the time to do what you have done. It is great fun to follow. It will be even more fun to follow the track progress.
