Let's go straight to the good stuff!

The CF dashboard came out far beyond my expectations. This is an original mold we created and the fabricator spared no expense.

There will be a few more switches added but this should give the general idea.

Uprights and control arms are in place.

The uprights can now be easily raised to allow the geometry of the car to be undisturbed. Ready for this? Yes you can use these on your stock Z06's with the OEM control arms.

The rear Lexan has been updated to assist the new paint scheme. Do you see that VY Z06 in the air? It has a Katech track attack LS7 coming very soon. No, it's not mine!

Here are a few shots of the CF dash. I finally have a steering wheel hook.

The switch panel will be secured after the last few switches are installed.

Drink and headlight flasher switches have been added to steering wheel.

Next week the CF headlights get hardwired and and the front Lexan goes back in. The front fascia just returned from some additional paint work.

I will post the completed car hopefully next week with stripping and all!

I've had enough of this Winter, can't to to go out and see you all at the track!

Fire away any questions!

Can you elaborate on the uprights? Benefits? Why would one want to use them with an otherwise stock oem setup?

Is that seat an ejection seat? There is a big read button, I thought maybe that was for the eject control.

Looks great Mike.

That looks so awesome!! I love the CF in the interior!

When you're done with it, your car isn't going to be much different from Corvette Racing's C6.R. Actually, your car will probably be faster because you don't the restrictions that the C6.R has to have.

Guys,

The uprights are not cheap. Figure ballpark 5K, but there is more to consider. If it's a street Z06, you can use the stock arms.

PMs sent.

When you lower the car, the control arms move lower and out of their OEM positioning. The uprights (spindles) are designed to reinstate the control arms keeping the same 'geometry' as if the car was never lowered.

If your car is stock and you do not lower it (very much) or track it, they certainly are not needed.
