Yes but it is far more advanced than the C6 it replaces. A F22 is a whole lot heavier than a P51 but is faster because it is far more advanced.

I doubt that very much. The camaro is at least 500lbs heavier & doesn't have the torque a Vette has. My Vette can run mid 13 second 1/4 mile all nite long. I doubt a V6 Camaro can do that

The LS7 has nothing to do with the Z06 not having a targa top. It's the aluminum frame that is the reason. The fact this story is called a rumor creates doubt in my mind that it will happen. :D
