Default Advice for staying under 90dB @ Laguna Seca?

Heading to Laguna Seca for a track day, unfortunately the 90dB limit is in place.

Anyone measure the dB of the C7 NPP Exhaust under full-bore? I'm assuming it will be over this given the experience of setting off car alarms at work just by starting the engine.

Otherwise, anyone aware of a way to keep the valves closed in track mode? The idea of finally driving on Laguna Seca in Eco mode feels like blasphemy.

Thanks!

For future reference when anyone is tracking @ Laguna Seca.

How to stay under 90 dB:
- Upshift into 4th before the sound booth
- Stay in 3rd, lifting off the throttle just before & after the booth.

If you stay in third and use full throttle, you will easily exceed 90dB. I was black flagged for hitting 94dB.

Otherwise, I was just blown away by the c7. It is a monster.

I'll tell you what's blasphemy. Setting sound limits at a race track is blasphemy.

Cheers.

I saw a post a while back and they recorded the NPP around 100dB inside the car, which would be loud and possibly damaging for an extended period. I'd consider using a set of noise filtering ear plugs if you have hearing loss like I do.

Cheers.
I believe they were forced to do this because of a lawsuit filed by homeowners living near the track. It was put in the sound limit or close the track. Hopefully someone who knows more about this will post details about it.
