I had an early 2006 and was very disappointed in both the ride and steering. My 2008 is a great improvement. There are some good threads on the steering which GM went to great effort to improve.

I had a black Z06 and mine looked like it was sprayed with rocks and it was babied. The Z06's are famous for being sprayed around the rear ducts and above the ducts on the fenders.
