People get killed by changing a tire on the side of the road (especially an interstate)

Also, I would use Quick Spair Tire Inflator (Slime) in a run flat with no air pressure to keep from ruining...

Problem Found & Solved

A very loose nut on a front anti-sway bar end link was found and corrected, curing the problem.

For preventive maintenance, I plan to replace all four end links shortly.

Aanyone purchase an Autometer OBDII device for displaying info on existing displays

The Autometer DL1010U for the C6 is $279 (with a possible $30 rebate).

I used a certified Corvette mechanic who now has his own shop.

Because he is not exactly close to my home, I waited (and watched) as he performed the work on my car.

Using GM parts with 3 hours...

Fixed!

Picked up the car today, problem fixed!

Also, while the car was in for service, had the transmission fluid and filter changed (fluid was a little dark).

Hopefully, no more unscheduled...

Cost to drive an 01 Silverado?

Purchased the 01 new in 00, it has been used like a car, not a serious work truck.

After 178K miles, just added up the cost of repairs (not counting normal maintenance, tires, oil changes, etc).

Finally Eyeballed a C7 and . . .

Very nice, but, not the same massive upgrade as was the C4 to the C5.

My C6 Coupe is like new with 54K miles and I still love it, think I'll keep the money and just be happy!
