Thinking of buying a C7?
Why?
I own a 2006 C6 coupe with 54K miles and aside from the cheap glove box latch (that has broken two times), I am a happy camper.

Glad you're happy with your C6.
When I have the means, I will be buying the C7.
I figure 120,000 more miles at .55 per mile and I will be able to afford a new one.
Of course I will wait for a used one which will save a few $$.
And Like a 2005 C6, there is NO way I would buy a 2014.
Maybe by 2016 I will be in the market for a used 2015.
Until then I will enjoy my C6, also.

Not quite sure if you are contemplating buying a C7 or saying you are happy with your C6.
Anyway, I contemplated it for the last several months but decided to keep my 09, Cyber/Grey 3LZ Z06. If I could afford a C7 Z06 I would go that way but can't so I am heaving Rebuilt heads, headers, cam etc done on mine and keep on riding and doing HPDE's.
Good luck

The C7 is no doubt more technically advanced than the C6 but it's just not worth the price of admission to me....yet.

C7 Z-51 with E-diff on a track, I agree. But a good CAI and 3" no muffler exhausts, Bullets or Borla ATak, picks up the hp difference in a car that weighs 200+ pounds less. The E-diff makes no difference on a drag strip, the weight will. That C6 with an A-6 will run with a C7 M-6 all day and may well edge it out 9 out of 10 times on the strip. No knock to the C7, which--styling aside, is a great car. But the C6 with ~460hp isn't exactly a stone.

Ever since Jalopnik leaked the dead on sketches of the C7 I have been underwhelmed by the styling. I've seen it up close in person about five times and I sat in them at the auto show and I still haven't warmed up to the styling of the exterior or the interior. Maybe some day I'll wake up and fall in like with it... Until then I'll keep my C6.

I have no interest in a C7. I have seen plenty of them in person, and they just don't do anything for me, especially the exterior looks. I will wait and see what the C8 has to offer, but until then, I will enjoy my C6.
