Be Strong, I agree the Z is not so great in the Rain, But a lot has to do with the Tires. The F1's are designed for mostly Dry warmer Weather. But Hay that''s why we got garages. Best of Luck ...

Give it some more time, The shifter is stiff when new, Watch the 1st to 4th shift below 2500. Mine is just getting Sweet and I have a little over 6000 miles on it.
But still a little notchy. ...
