both my zr1's have them. my c6 is a '13 and the brakes are still like new. I dont track my cars though. Never had an issue with ceramics and the zero brake dust while street driving is a huge plus.

The paint can be corrected I would think. I had a modified Z06 that had the same stickers on it in several areas. I think its an aftermarket ID# for some kind of insurance but I never figured it out...
