I am curious as to how quickly those on the Z06 list have received cars from MM.
I have chosen a different route when getting "in line".
I place orders at multiple dealers, all over the country, all with refundable deposits. Some have absolutely no one on a list and yet get an allocation or two, before "big dealers" have cars. At least that is how it worked with the C8's (Stingray and Z06).

I am curious as to how those who see this post react, since so many seem "loyal" and " limited" to one dealer even if there are ways to get a car faster. As an aside, you can sign up at MM and still do what I suggest. Honestly, trying to be helpful, especially for those who are "older" and time is important. Obviously, you competing with me does not help me, but I believe there are plenty to go around. I have not waited long, , i.e. C8 Z51 March 2020, the Z06, July 2023.

I feel like the ZR1 production numbers are going to be so low that this is going to be an entirely different game than what we've seen with stingray, z06, and eray...

we are all entitled to our opinions but I see absolutely zero basis for this position...the ZR1 will have the largest profit margin of any vehicle GM makes; they will manufacture it from 2026 through 2028; this presents an opportunity to sell as many as they can build....I am hopeful that GM Supplier Management learns from its mistakes with ****-poor low volume carbon fabrication suppliers and finds suppliers that can support high rates for both Z06 & ZR1!

C7 ZR1 is my basis for that opinion. Look how low production they were. I doubt the profit margin is going to be the highest of any vehicle GM makes just based on the cost of R&D... I would say light duty pickup trucks probably take that roll, mass produced, easily engineered, sold for way more than they make them. I look for it to be a low production car. I'd say less than 1500 units a year if I had to make my guess. Maybe I'm wrong but thats what I see happening. The carbon thing isnt a GM supplier problem, its a world wide one and its due to a shortage of raw material.

Just imagine a ZR1 with carbon fiber constraints lol. What a joke that is. I'm definitely adding another ZR1 and have been on the contact list for quite a while. But in no way am I in the "I have to have it RIGHT NOW" group

There were shortage issues created during COVID due to decreased demand, just like with the Automotive Chip suppliers...that ship has sailed! What you don't understand about GM Supplier Management is that they ONLY select the CHEAPEST provider of products and typically when it comes to composites, the small mom & pop shops have the best price but have MAJOR issues supporting higher production rates due to their limited size and capacity even though they "promise" GM that they will double/triple hiring, build more tooling and expand their Facility...how's that doing for the C8Z lol...pathetic!!! I worked for one of the world's largest carbon fiber producer of products and provided a bid to GM before on a previous Program so I fully understand how they can't manage carbon fiber production to support rate as I watched the suppliers that they chose instead of the company that I worked for!

There won’t be alot of them!

I've been on several contact lists including MM for a while. I'm number one on my local dealer's list as well. Doesn't mean anything right now. I'm still waiting for my Z06 allocation, although that should be real soon. Although I've been a Corvette owner since 1985, I'm not hard set on having to stay that way. At 65YO, I'm not getting younger and there are many other cars out there I would like to experience ownership.

It will have to be an awesome car with great sound for me to sell my 2019 ZR1. I worry the TT will muffle the exhaust too much. The price will also have to be lower than I'm guessing it will be. I'm excited waiting for the reveal.
