I drive about 65 miles per day (to and from work) mostly highway with the usual jams / stop & go. Even on cra$$y gas I get 25+ mpg.

One other point to remember is that a 10 degree change in temp is equal to 1 psi change. We have had some big swings here in TX so your tire pressure can look very strange on a day to day basis
