Default Issues with my 05 Vette

I'm bringing in my car for some issues that I'd like your opinions on.

My airbag light on the dash just came on but it isn't steady, sounds like a loose wire or something, anyone have this happen.

It looks like my Differential is leaking, I have an oily substance on my leaf spring in the rear. I already had the leak in my trans fixed.

My power top hangs up after the waterfall rises and I have to try to close the top before I can go back to open. It's doing it more often now.

What I thought was a squealing belt, I think is now a bad AC clutch. I've had them replace the belt 3 times and I keep asking if they see anything else wrong because it doesn't make sense that the belt keeps going bad after a few thousand miles. I'm pretty sure it's that the clutch doesn't fully disengage and therefore it makes a high pitched metal squeal. When the clutch engages the noise goes away.

So, I've always been the biggest supporter of GM and have always owned their cars but this is the most expensive and although I love the car it's really starting to **** me off. I'm considering selling my other car and buying a new 2008 CTS when it comes out but I'm starting to wonder.

So, please let me know if any of you have experienced these issues and if you have any ideas.
Thanks.

Hmm, I'd almost prefer they find the problem vs just resetting it. I have 1 year left on warranty and don't want to pay for the issue after warranty is up.

The airbag light on my 07 came on. Dealer reset the code (they couldn't find any problems).

Light came back on. Done a search on the forum, turns out the connector under my drivers seat was almost unplugged. Plugged it back up and haven't had any other issues with it.

Yeahhhhhh Forum!!!

This has been reported many times. Must be the guy on the assembly line is weak.

Is there a link to show where the connector is? I'd love to solve this problem myself so I can minimize what the dealer has to deal with. I don't like them touching my car to begin with.

The airbag light on my 07 came on once. At first I thought it was the seatbelt light so I unplugged the belt and plugged it back in and the airbag light went off and hasn't come back on since.

Definitely ranks up there on my weird sh*t-o-meter.

Everything can be corrected. Bare with the dealer, let the dealer fix these items and then enjoy the car.

Look under the seats. If you don't see it move the seat back and forth and you will see it. It's just an electrical connector, can't miss it.

Curious. I found a connector the other day in the back of the seat that has a clip that goes on a support bar that runs underneath the seat. The clip wasn't connected to the bar so I connected it. Now a week later the light starts to go on. I wonder if that's it.

I had a boat load of issues with my '05 including the elusive belt squeal. ALL of the issues fixed under warranty and its been great since.

The belt issue turned out to be a combination of things; loose harmonic balancer, belt tensioner not perfectly aligned, and internals of the alternator.

Don't sweat this stuff; all warranty items.

Hmm, I told them to look at all of that in the past and they said everything was alighned properly and that the tensioner was working normally. It really pisses me off although it's not as bad as it was in the past.
