Can use either. difference is boiling point temperature. DOT 3 = 205°C/401°F. DOT 4 = 230°C/446°F. I use Ranger for clutch and rather than sit & pump I just drive. Change it again once it dirties....

I like it. Find myself getting on the throttle going under overpasses. I think its fine at highway speed in 5th or 6th gear 65 mph sound is quiet enough. When your in the mood for louder I downshift.

That Mod thread talks about making a hole in the internal pipe & plugging the outside hole. Outside hole was to be used to gain access to internal pipe only. No holes on outside.
