LT6 initial oil and filter change

Let both drain plugs and filter drain for about one hour.
I have not yet been able to get oil temp up to 170-175 yet. I will tomorrow.

LT6 oil change

Preformed 1st oil change. Added 8 quarts as per the Owners Manuel. Noticed that the oil on the dip stick is slightly higher than the checkered line on the dipstick.

Is this normal?

How muc lifter top end engine noise is normal?

Noticed some lifter noise coming from engine at idle.

Some what similar to what my 2011 LS7 made. Seems to go away at higher RPMs.

Normal for this engine?

These plastic plugs have been used on 2020 and new Chevy Blazers. You do not need to replace each time if you are careful to not treat them like a old school metal plug.
