Just pulled the trigger on the Nittos, delivery by the end of the week. The Z16 has been sitting dormant for far too long; my Proxes were made in 2006. Can't wait to get her back on the road.

I disagree; he may be losing oil from the valve seals instead of (or as well from) the rings.

However, an "oil low" message from the DIC shortly after topping off - even after auto-xing - I think...

Well, wouldn't ya know it, the same dang thing happened to me this past weekend .. same wheel, too (right rear).

No TPMS on the Z06 .. regardless, I'm pulling the wheel and taking it to a shop....

You will enjoy the hell out of this car. Take it to a track day; this car is most at home under hard acceleration in a curve.

It sounds to me like the clutch. In the system that makes the car go forward (engine, drive shaft, clutch, tranny, rear end) ... the clutch is the most delicate and abused...

Park it in the reverse gear. I remember hearing that from somewhere; based on the high gear, it's the 'best choice'.. I always do, and I seldom use the handbrake. Works on inclines either way.
