Default [DFW] All AMERICAN Cars & Burgers Car Show on Saturday, 08/22/09

The Red Baron Corvettes are sponsoring the All AMERICAN Cars & Burgers Car Show on Saturday, 08/22/09, from 5PM - 9PM. The location is on the far east side of NW Regional Airport at 5360 Kelly Road in Roanoke, Texas.

Web site: http://www.redbaroncorvettes.com/CarShows.htm

Map: http://www.mapquest.com/mq/10-Xg9eR8510bcKWoE7_nZ7

All AMERICAN made antiques, classics, customs, hot rods, muscle cars, resto mods, street rods, etc., will be there. The public is invited to come and view these great cars! Food & drinks will be available. Some shade is available under a large porte cochere and the show is later in the day but, we still suggest that car owners bring shade (an umbrella, canopy or something) to stay out of the direct sun!

You can RSVP on the All AMERICAN Cars & Burgers Car Show Facebook page.

Chevrolet is an American company. So if you have a Camaro, you're more than welcome at the event, I'm sure.

Do you have one?

Or is there maybe some other agenda about this post that I'm unaware of?

I've been waiting to meet a lot of the forum peeps too, but something always happens to prevent that, it seems.

As for the dog, he's Merle Great Dane and we're still deciding if we name him "Joe" or "Barkley."

Can't wait to get the little guy home and see how the fat, lazy cats react

I'm going to ask my wife about going tonight and if we do, we won't be able to drive the 'vette. I've got a 'vert and ain't gonna try sticking any pet in the trunk. A kid I might do that to, but not a pet

Barkley does have that snotty, elitist English royalty type of ring to it, doesn't it?

I'm not so sure about the cats. One's a loaner, one's fat and lazy, and one's been abducted by my wife for a shaving session at the groomers. Now that cat is shy.

My wife has sensitive skin and had to shave her because of all the shedding, though.

Can't make it. Oh well. Maybe another time. It's not fair to the wife with her being pregnant and keeping her away from home where she can mitigate some of the morning sickness and other ailments associated with the first trimester.

I'll get out to meet a few peeps in person one of these days. So far I can count the number on one hand. Let's see: 90expVette, EG, One more that I haven't talked to in a long time and can't remember his name (military peer..sorry man), and that's about all I can remember off hand. Sorry if I left anyone out.
