Thanks for the advise, I just found a 98 even closer to where I live for 20K with 30K on the clock---so I know they can be found just a matter of finding the right one-----Thansk for all your help...

Same thing happened to me last week on my 75-I believe yours might be a little diff--Like Burnt said I was able to get it from underneath but only on the passenger side--the driverside I popped out...

i had the same thing, turned out bubba did some wiring,,,I'd take out the gauge console and look at you wires make sure all of the them are connected--also when your in there should check bulbs,,,

I guess I didn't realize they were different in 74 than 75-79---but be dosen't have them (kind of lost them) so I believe 74-790 will work right?

Mine took about 2 weeks but I brought to the shop primmed and the shop blocked it out, plus its a small mom and pop shop (son and dad), so it didn't take too long.
