Hmm, I think it updates the look of the C4 a bit. C6 Z06 wheels, low-pro tires, and a lowering kit would be a nice setup. Those wheels would look better polished and not chrome, though.

Oh man. Value varies greatly by region. In BC, cars like that are listed at over 12k, easy. One of the cleanest C4's I've seen, but I do hope you get US-spec side mirrors.

Actually, C4's are incredibly inexpensive right now..I believe they are at their low point in value..it will go back up from here. For 5k, you can have a fast, relatively reliable and good looking...
