I'm at my Dad's in Chicago and I hope this is going to be a long post, I feel very creative. It's been almost two years now on the forum and I guess I'm not really a newbie anymore. I think!. It does feel good knowing what we see all the time, hope everyone is doing well, would like to hear from Old Crusty. How is the Vette? Best wishes to you! Hope you are doing well. All of you. I didn't drive my Vette to Chicago, it's sitting at home with a vacuum leak from the intake manifold. I was going to get a Renegade, the car hadn't broken down since September really, I had to put in a new battery, and I had some money saved. I save a dollar a mile for every mile that I drive the Vette, about 300 a month. I didn't want to do the work of the manifold twice so I have to wait till the end of July. I feel like the 84 mod toipic is a good one on the forum and I feel kind of bad about doing it. I feel bad the manifold is leaking too. The 84 is a classic I probably wouldn't do this if it hadn't broke but you can see I said I was going to get one. I seriously wish it would go 200 and might put in a five speed next if I can, is this possible in a car with an automatic
How many of you have done all the suspension and brake work that I think the car should have after 108,00 miles and 26 years? You always say they are so reliable and all you have to do to them is put oil in it!
When some body asks if they should buy a Vette shouldn't we tell them to have 5000! Couldn't you use that for your car now?
I think your Vettes really going to be worth something and you should invest in it and keep it in top shape, the milage thing works for me.
hope you get a C3 with a 454! Would hate to race that, AstroMan.

Yes, last time we spoke you told me about your creativity and it is a great thing you didn't drive to Chicago.

Regarding your 84's classic status, forget about it. There are so many C4s that not even other C4 owners have hope that they would ever become classics.

You would need about 700HP to make it to 200.

This tread is a classic

Seriosly, I was just wishing, that's how much I like it.
The main points of this thread for consideration were how much the forum is about mods and how classic Vettes really are and the idea about saving money, I think it's good because it's related to how many miles you drive.
I was just trying to do a discussion thing about mod or original.
I'm glad I didn't drive the Vette to Chicago too. Traffic came to a dead stop at Rennsalauer IN for an hour and then crawled forward for another. It was 90 and my 89 Olds Ciera got really hot. That put me in Chicago rush hour traffic where I crawled for another two hours would you like that! I forgot the IL Dot is on strike after the stimulus program gave them money for jobs

Coming soon, VetteJournal.com

I am with you in the spirit of keeping things original, but sometimes it's fun to change a thing here or there. Too bad you didn't get to enjoy the trip in your vette, rush hour traffic allows you to make new friends (people yelling over "what year is it?")

I've seen you on craigslist. You're going to tell me if I send you $500, I'll get a check for $10,000,000 huh?

On a serious note- You are not from around these parts are you? still working on translation?

I'll give you a clue. You are writing like this is a diary or journal. This is a forum. Talk to us about a specific thought. You're rambling about way too many things.

In one sentence, tell us what your point is. Do you want info on modding your 84?

I was reading some of your past threads you started and they all sounded and were written normally.

This thread sounds like it was written by someone else, who doesn't speak English very well. What the heck happened?!

You're right- can meds make you talk like a China-man lost in translation?

Really, it grew on me, I will probably get a high performance converter for it when I get a Renegade at the end of July and it will be great
to see what it sounds like then!
