Re: Pics of LPE 415 - sorry for the delay (DDSLT5)

Very nice ride Dwight! I think it's time to go looking for Vipers to restore the natural order of things

Are you able to hook it under 100 mph? I guess you ZR1 guys have a little more...

Re: Driving in the rain.... (jackmott)

That behavior is normal for Supercar tires with more than 5000 miles on them. They are awsome tires in the dry but they SUCK WIND in the rain. Brigdestone Potenza S3s for example are much better in...

Re: 2004 Shocks for Z06 (Z11409)

Excellent! What do those run? And here is a stupid question: do you need to replace all four or is it just the rears that are different?

Re: 2004 Shocks for Z06 (Andi)

Re: MY CAR WAS STOLEN YESTERDAY (PeterK)

Actually, that is NOT the case for BMWs E46 3 series cars. You may want to do a little research before you start suggesting that others don't know what they are talking about...

BMWs, at least as...

Re: Active Suspension = procharger for LT5????? (DDSLT5)

Dwight,

Before others start to suggest that counseling is available, I think you should drive the 415 down some back roads of in your area and let us know if you still need more power once you...

Re: September C&D - Z06 Handling all about the tires?!! (RichieRich)

Agreed, especially with the Z51 or Magnetic Ride Control suspensions.

The tires and wheels make a huge difference.

Re: WHICH CAR WOULD YOU BUILD? (96VIPERGTS)

I would mod the Z06 with some forced induction. For $15K, I would look at a Cerra Turbo setup as my first choice.

My ultimate supercar is still probably a Z06 with a C5R race block 427 putting...

Re: September C&D - Z06 Handling all about the tires?!! (RichieRich)

uh, to an extent. This is a quote from the article:

"If the three targas are apples, the Z06 is a kumquat-a go kart among grand tourers. Its steering response is so much quicker it's hard to...

Re: MY CAR WAS STOLEN YESTERDAY (RaceCarDriver)

Re: Is out 6th gear ratio lower than a stock c5? (Cobra4B)

5th may be an overdrive but it isn't just for cruising. You get to 170 mph much faster with the shorter 5th gear gearing. As for 6th, it only takes a few mods to make the Z06 a 200 mph car (like a...

Re: Comparison. New Z vs. old M...FWIW (Roadfrog)

While the M is a fun car, handles great and is easier to push at it's lower limits, you will discover just how much car you have in the Z06 over time. This car will absolutely outperform any BMW on...

Re: Lets see who has the most miles on the vette?? (CPT Z06)
