I was pulling the speedo/tach cluster, to replace the wiper switch on my 79. I removed the plastic covering, and then as I was working I bumped the speedo needle, and it broke like a twig...

That date that I gave you was printed on the GVW sticker. That sticker is faded and peeling, and I didn't see a specific day. The stainless plate that is near the door hinge only has paint codes,...

What are each of the connections on the alternator for: Bat, F, S.

Bat I'm sure goes to the + terminal on the battery. Field, I think, goes to the voltage regulator, for external mounted...
