Got mine from TLD in 1999. Looks like original 3 spoke with new leather. Not sure how it can be smaller. Very pleased with mine. Sam and the guys at TLD are a great group of people to work with....

Here's one way to tell. The early 79's have a 3 door storage compartment in the back. The late's have only 2 doors. I went through that with my 79. :)

Zwede, I checked the high side. Here are the numbers;
High Side: 105 - 160
Low Side: 25 - 60
Outside temp: around 55 F.

My duct temps are now around 62. I beleive this is due to blowing out...

A/C guru's..need help with pressure reading

Converted to R134 and need some info on correct pressures for low side. When checking the low side pressure, it cycles up to about 54psi and then drops to around 25psi before the compressor kicks...

Thanks for the reply. LOL, I figured the cold air entering the engine compartment would give me a few extra horsies :lol: I'll tape her up tomorrow. That cold air would actually be best...
