Steering wheels from "The Last Detail "
Has anyone on the forum had any experience with the $ 99.00 steering wheels from the "Last Detail " . I was told by thier customer service department that they are a little bit smaller. I don't know exactly how much smaller. I would like to hear from anyone who has experiences with these wheels. Thanx Brent

You must have an old catalog because P/N 622886 shows 68-82 STEERING WHEEL-(REPRO) ALL COLORS at Price: $182.00 not at $99.00. Sorry I don't have one so I can not help you on size nor quality.

Give this forum member a try, Chuck Pelton does all of the major Corvette companies restorations when you send them in. I hope he won't mind if I post his address. He does these reasonable. I have two to send him now. He will also take an old sticky 69 - 73 and add foam and a leather cover to it. GM offered it this way on the '69 Camaro. I have never seen an original Sport Padded Comfort Grip wheel on a Vette? This is a good question, Has anyone seen the Sport Padded Comfort Grip Vette wheel on a Corvette?
Jim,
I sell the 1977-82 steering wheels to the forum members for $XXX exchange. That would take care of the 1978 Pace Car wheel.
The 1970 wheel I can do for $XXX in black. We add some foam to give it a nicer feel. Chuck, chuckpelton@comcast.net
I'll let Chuck give you the prices, jim

Got mine from TLD in 1999. Looks like original 3 spoke with new leather. Not sure how it can be smaller. Very pleased with mine. Sam and the guys at TLD are a great group of people to work with. I'll have to look, but I think it was a bit more than $99.

I believe your right about the $99 steering wheel, I was in there the other day and I'm almost positive I saw one on the wall for $99. Looked practicly like the original ones to me
