My wife and I are looking for a well maintained 78-82 vette. It needs to be an automatic for her to drive. She cannot drive my C4 because of the 6 speed. She likes the looks of the C3 for these years and Ii cannot disagree with her.
We are looking in the price range of 9-12k.

Sorry man but now here are some more details. She likes white ext. but hates red int. Wants leather int. Would prefer a blue ext w/oyster int.

I did see your wife's preferences. But I wanted to let you know about my brother's 77 T-Top vette. He's in the Allentown, PA area. This auto has beige interior Red exterior and great chrome wire wheels.
I've got it posted in here with pics if you're interested. It's an older post, done 10/24/2004. I'm sure he will drop the price by now.

I have been considering selling my '79 because i really want a manual tranny and it is an auto. it is white with oyster interior. i havn't really figured a price yet, but my initial thoughts were right in your range. it is a reallly nice car that has been my baby for the last 3 years, i have done a lot of work to it and it runs very strong. if you are interested i could send you some pics...let me know...

I know of a couple looking to sell their vet. I saw the car and it is sweet looking. I don't know much about these cars, so you would need to call them. I do know this much:
