I do. I have removed a plastic bag that wrapped around the drive shaft and tore up the pinion seal on the differential. It wasn't on the c4 but just the same, if I could avoid it I will.

Some of the difference in the 88 is ABS brakes, they have 17" wheels, the dashboard gauges are inset a little further to help with glare so you can read them easier. Theres also the addition of VATS....
