While it is correct that the Z's did not get special VIN numbers, they were the ONLY model being built in August, 2005 so they all have sequential VINS, i.e., VIN 504 (mine) rolled off the line right...

I would have thought the in-line fuse in the cord from the battery tender to the battery would save the day. At least my Battery Tender Plus has such a fuse. :hide:
