Re: 84 Electric Fuel Pump - Should I replace it ?? (andyjsmith)

Ye s you just get the pump. You need to buy a new pick-up sock (screen). There is some mods needed for the connector to upgrade to a 85 too. With no other mods on the car an 85 pump wont have any...

Re: 25watts/channel X4 enough? (Vett-eight-nine)

:withstupid: I agree. Drop the money on a quality Head unit. The power rating will be more accurate and will actually be cheaper than a cheap head and amp. Plus an easier cleaner install.

Re: L98 383 Stroker (drumboytroy)

Re: I just purchased my first '84, info needed! (jeff69)

You will enjoy the 84 very much. Nothing out of ordinary wrong with it (except, i agree the dash cluster) just keep it maintained and drive it hard. Enjoy and good luck. :steering:

Re: Restored 'classic' '84's are now worth $21,300!!! (C-4 Cross Fire)

We talked about this before and I think its early to see 84s worth money but I figured it was coming. I agree it doesnt make sense you could very easily buy one and make it real nicee for well under...

Re: C4 Vs C6 (oldtimer)

I can say i was more excited about the C6 than I ever was about the C5. But I can honestly say (and not cause i own one) that the C4 is one of the best looking generations.

Re: Can U pass emmissions without a Cat? (CFI-EFI)

Mine passes well within specs with the cat sleeved with pipe, so i pass the visual too. If car is in good tune the cat wont be the deciding factor. My truck passes by the skin of its teeth with a cat...

Re: What is wrong with the Bose systems. (Jeffvette)

Bose doesnt sound bad at all really, especially in a coupe. The big problems are A. its a very unreliable system B. There are way better components available so why not have quality stuff?

Re: C4 styling: no longer "with it"? (longhorn_C4)
