All I can figure is, since it's a restored vehicle, if it gets wrecked, and the owner wants to fix it, the ORIGINAL OEM restoration parts must be expensive enough (aint it the truth!!) that the value climbed to where NADA has it set.
I'm going to check the NADA site and see if I can contact them or send seedback or something to find out how they determine value.

We talked about this before and I think its early to see 84s worth money but I figured it was coming. I agree it doesnt make sense you could very easily buy one and make it real nicee for well under $20k. You could insure it for that but whos gonna steal it. They are cool cars that should have a special place in auto history but man you can get so many cars at that price. I guess cause we all have one (a C4) that we look down on it if you arent a vette guy you see it for wat it is. It was ahead of its time, It is a classic, It is a sweet car, and even though there were so many made there are fewer nice ones today.
