This is what I want to know also. Will wait until one is offered to consider a purchase. Would figure on better acceleration and better hwy mileage with the 8 speed auto.

I have had both, auto C6 and manual C6, and I would really like a dual clutch 7 speed for the best of both worlds. It would also shift faster than I could. :)

I don't like the prospect of losing all that storage area the coupe now has. You can fit a lot in there making a cross country trip more practical. Mid engine storage capability would not lend...

I won't buy a new Corvette until they have DI engines and a dual-clutch auto option. Just a few additional options is not worth trading up.

Split window only lasted one year as drivers didn't like the view. Rear view camera would help, but I don't want a C7 retro Corvette - let's move forward with the design, not backwards. :)
