Need to add another voting button.

* Wait until they change out the Camaro taillights (or wait for the C8).

Some of the styling is starting to grow on me, but the taillights will never. I'll keep my C6 GS for now.

I did not like the black small spoiler on my 05. I ordered some paint and had it repainted ...... problem solved

Yup there were recalls for the 05 flying top, DBS & etc... but the A4 was free and mine only had the top recall, no other problems built in February 05

At least a year! That time there will be many reviews about it! Cars are expensive, so the decision should not be taken lightly. I want to make a decision that I will be proud of.

Well that just sounds about the best way to start your retirement!

We already have the color picked out!!! Now we need to wait for the first year frenzy to end... plan is to buy it next year. With Z51 performance package.

The 2016 should be about right. All the early teething issues will be fixed and a high performance engine will be ready.

My plan is to sell the C5 this summer and buy a C7 in the spring of 2014 (if I can wait that long).

Default How long till I buy?

I bought my Centennial Callaway GS vert last year. No way I would've waited a more than a year for a base coupe. Just like not wanting to wait a year for the c6 when I bought 04 c5. Reason being, tomorrow isn't guaranteed to anyone. I typically would avoid a first year car but I absolutely love the C7. After a year or two and only when available in convert and performance models would work for me. Plus, I would most certainly wait to see what the plans are from Callaway. I've never owned a better car than the one I currently enjoy. Maybe if wife is willing to trade her 50th anniversary vert it could be sooner. I know one is in my future. Just not the base coupe. I think the cars amazing. It has my vote regardless of some of the negative rhetoric that's pouring in.

I'm getting one asap. I couldn't care less about how much more I can roast my tires than some other dude. And this whole thing about 'wait a year till they get the bugs out' is old school fantasy.....I bought the brand new C6 when they first came out and the car has been flawless six years now. Any problem, they fix it free anyway.

Just like any new model released the older models will go down in value. I don't think the GS is going to get "crushed" in resale value. I think the rear end is a horrible design, did they just cut and paste the Camaro back on it ? I would like to have the interior in my 2011 GS but that is about it.
