fuel pump installation

Gonna install new fuel pump in my 87.Noticed Delco pump purchased has a new pigtail with it.Anyone know if any soldering is involved or just spliceing?Many thanks.:bigears

Since the leaks aren't that bad I think I'll put stop leak in at oil changes and save the money for now at least.The car is an 87 with 110,000 mi.I bet there are a lot of C-4's with this problem?

If the throttle shaft is worn it will cause a bad idle.Check for movement of shaft.Worn or poorly adjusted blades can also be a problem.
