Leaky main seals: cost to replace?

I just checked on replacing the rear main at the local Chevy dealer (small town near Columbus, OH) and they quoted $450 labor (6 hr flatrate value) and the seal was $27. The front seal should be cheaper and I think you can change it without dropping the oil pan but I'm not sure on that.

Since the leaks aren't that bad I think I'll put stop leak in at oil changes and save the money for now at least.The car is an 87 with 110,000 mi.I bet there are a lot of C-4's with this problem?
