After trying to listen again this morning, it actually may be the Front instead of the Rear but the noise is definitely coming from the Passenger (righthand) side.

I think it's based on $$$-Cost-$$$ savings......they only need 1-tire mold per size. It's not a left / right tire combo but can work on either side. Hence, you could 'rotate' or 'flip' from driver...
