Yeah for me too the biggest surprise is the C6 Z51 not because is not a great track car but because it embarrassed the 997 Turbo and it was not far behind the GT3 that is simply remarkable....

Sector 1 and 2 both won by the Z06 by a combined margin of 0.6 sec then the GT3 wins in...

I remember that C&D in that F430, 06 Z06 and 997 Turbo comparison didn't...

But it looks like this is a 07 model since they keep complaining about the Z06...

Is not a big increase in weight but it should affect the Z acceleration by a few tenths of a second....

Do you have any more in detail information about the Steering Mechanism...

This article although i have not seen it i disagree that the GT3 handles better than the Cayman or the Elise....

No way the rear engine GT3 outhandles the better balanced mid engine...

I think the revised shocks was to address the Z06 handling complaints that the car was too sensitive to bumpy roads or to give it better vertical body control.....

From what they said seems like the main reason for getting rid of the Run Flats was to reduce unsprung...

Another 08 Viper change is that it got rid of the Run Flat Tires, good move.......

Hope the Blue Devil comes without Run Flats.......
