That is a big camshaft and will want to go to 7200. If it is falling off at 6500, then you have a valvtrain instability problem. Either weak or improperly set up valvesprings and/or insufficient push...

GS rod bearing question

So a friend of mine decided to Texas Speed cam/head his CFM 12 GS.
Car is a Centennial edition stick w/dual mode. With long tubes, no cats
and Vararam intake it chassied roughly 540ish...however...

Sixty foot was 1.74 after a 6-8 second 2nd gear burnout with MT 265
DRs @32psi (only cuz I was 2 lazy to lower them)...Im nowhere...

116-117 but if you already have the cam I'd strongly suggest milling
those 799s about .035" AND using Cometic .040" or .045" head...

unshroud the larger diameter valves. Heads flow different numbers
depending on the diameter of the bore plate. IIRC the LS3...
