My '04 Z does the same thing. A slight metallic tinkling sound, almost like a chain rattling or something - mostly only noticeable at neutral throttle. Been doing the same thing for 45000 miles now....

You can get a clear film applied that cuts out 35% or more of UV. It made a big difference in interior heating from sunlight without alarming Officer Friendly.

So I wanted the All Season capability, hence the DWS. They are coming off as soon as the new Vredesteins get here....

Your dealer can enable it in your Z06 computer. Then you just need the sensors installed and the calibration done. Somewhere on the forum there is a detailed write up on it .... I had to print it out...
