Do you carry a jack in your corvette?

50 miles from home. Pulled over every time it got low, filled it up with my compressor and made it home.

No, carry a portable compressor, plug kit, smart phone, Premuim AAA, several credit cards and cash. It doesn't matter where you are in this world, pull out a couple of Ben Franklin's and your golden.

For everyone depending solely on roadside assistance... just pray you're not out in the middle of the boonies somewhere that doesn't have a phone signal. You'll wish you'd put that patch kit and compressor in. As for me, I have both... the ability to repair a flat myself and roadside assistance. I'll do whichever is easier at the time.

Same here runner. And if I'm far enough into the sticks that there aren't even any houses around to ask to use their phone, then I should probably be in my 4x4... not the Vette. ;-)

I carry a plug kit, a compressor and a jack. The PT Cruiser jack lays very low and the handle doubles as a lug wrench. It's cheap, comes in a nice fitted bag and fits in one of the back side compartments.
And I have run-flats!

I carry a Slime 70004 kit - see slime dot com - but unless it is a fast leak I would "hop scotch" with the compressor to someplace that could fix it right too.

BMW scissors jack in a custom case I made, plug tool and Z06 inflator. Running Michelin PS2s, and most of my experience with AAA (I'm a member), is that the guy shows up with "a bigger hammer".

Yes, a small, light aluminum scissors jack from an RX-7, air compressor, plug kit . . . plus I have run-flats, AAA, and got the cell phone. Be prepared.

I don't have run-flats either. If I pick up a nail, I'm hitting the tire with a roadside plug and/or can of slime. Then I'm heading straight for a repair shop. If the plug or slime can't handle my issue; I'm calling a hauler.

A compressor, 2 cans of fix a flat, 2 plug kits and a small cheapo small floor jack. If someone thinks that's to heavy then you need a bigger cam.

Wow, all great replies. Looks like it is all about personal preference and a AAA card. I do have road side assistance on my insurance policy and also have a plug kit and a compressor. I just need to track down a sissor jack and some blocks of wood.
Thanks again.

Nope, Jack bought his own Vette so I don't carry him around anymore.
