Back in an FRC!!! Oh how I've missed having a Vette !
Hey all,
After looking for a while and trying to find a great deal either on a z or an FRC it has finally come. I was going to pull the trigger on a beautiful red FRC here on the boards but shipping was going to be a bear. I looked at multiple z's in my area but they really weren't the color I was looking for. Red or black was my color of choice. I just so happened to stumble across an all black FRC local and put the down payment on it today. It's very very clean and I can't wait to go to the bank with the owner tomorrow and purchase it!! Feels great to be back in the saddle. Jay.
Here are three that I snapped today. I will have more tomorrow..
I purchased the car for 11895.00. Its a 99 FRC that is pretty much stock besides the magnaflow exhaust. The original owner took amazing care of the car. It has all Lloyd Mats (Spelling?) from driver, pass, to the trunk. It really is in great shape for the years. He installed the functional z06 brake vents as well. The mileage on was high side (126k), but it doesnt matter to me since I have an LS6 ready to drop in if this engine ever fails. The interior is a 9 out of 10. Its in better shape than any of my other FRCs or Z06. I was in awe as to how great of shape it was in honestly. The only thing that is driving me absolutely crazy is those silver spear things on the fenders. I went to take them off and they are BOLTED in. I was under the impression that they are 3m taped on, so like an idiot I was out there with a heat gun, only to find out there was one stud that was bolted on. So im going to have to figure out my next step with those. But hey life is Great!!! What do you all think? Jay
