no dice... i set it at TDC and the rotor was under #1 i also dried rotating the dizzy to help give it some advance and no go there either... not sure where to go from here??

I had a similar problem on my 76 and it ended up...

I had a similar problem on my 76 and it ended up being the voltage regulator. Quick easy fix by swapping the alternator

i just did a 383 build and the $$ adds up quickly when building it piece by piece but it is a good feeling when i start her up knowing that i built it completely my self :cheers:
