Thanks for the detailed info. Any dyno graphs? I'm interested to see the torque differences on the curve, I hear it's a lot between z06 manifolds and long tubes.

They can't have long tube headers from the factory cause that would require putting the cats further back. They want the cats closer to the engine so they'll warm up quicker and start operating...

He's an 07 so he probably has to do the sniffer once in 2012 then he's safe. I believe first smog is 5 years after you buy a new car.

Actually a lot of blowers are CARB certified, making them the most legal of any mod besides a catback exhaust. No idea why blowers are legal but no CAI for C6's are.

For some reason my front Goodyear SuperCars only lasted 25k miles, but the rears lasted 45k. So for 20k miles I had the SuperCars in the rears and non-runflat firestone's in the front.

Better to have just the visual vs visual and sniffer. Although if you have a loud exhaust and lopey cam, I'm sure the cops will be able to force you to do a sniffer test.

I always thought the higher hp/torque FI cars didn't run much faster than heads/cam guys cause of traction issues at the track. I'm sure they would blow away the lesser HP cars if the race started...
