Isn't that top pic the EWP version? That's what I have on my car, it is notched to allow the water pump that sticks off the front of the engine to fit.

I am happy with my Mezierre (electric) pump which uses your original housing...doesn't cost a lot more than a replacement pump, i think mine was ~$200 for the HD unit...and a couple free horsepower...

Can anyone explain why an injector would be more likely to fail at high duty cycle? isn't it just open or closed at the same rate as rpm (or at least based on that) so how does it make a difference...

The XLR does not use a corvette motor, it's a Northstar modified for rear-wheel drive. The cadillac with the vette motor is the CTS-V, and it has the LS6. Our c4's stock are quicker than an XLR and...

mine has been in for 2 summers...the only problem is when the relay failed, the temp shot up and luckily i saw it, pulled over, and shorted the wires together to turn the pump back on. no problems...

is that 10,000 gallons per engine or the total of 4 engines...in that case the 1 engine in the dragster consumes fuel faster than one in the 747...

i would start by changing the thermostat and cleaning the radiator. maybe pull the radiator off to clean it and inspect/replace hoses while you are at it.
