Default opti miss at high end?

Has anyone ever had there opti only miss in upper rpm's? The dyno shop told me that the car had a miss @5200 on one pull and ~4500 on another. They suggest changing the plugs, which I will, but I am pretty sure its probably the damn opti. Therefore no real tuning was ablr to be done on my car. :cry

Yes it has happened to me, on my '95 it was the wire from the coil rubbing the waterpump, on my '93 it was the opti.

I had this occur. The miss was present only above 6000rpm and it was intermitent.

Yep, had it on my Opti too. Installed the LTCC and no more missing at WOT shifts. Need a dyno run now to see if it really holds all the way to redline.

A coil going bad will cause a miss under load. ...just a thought.
