Braking performance was never an issue, just the distance the pedal travels before the brakes grab. The brake fluid has been replaced and the lines have been bled with no change in brake pedal...

That’s not logical. You can’t put on a front plate if your state only issued one. There is no way to comply with a two-plate state you’re driving through.

Well, two years ago I had the front fascia...

Well, two years ago I had the front fascia repainted because of so many stone chips that occurred on extensive road trips. Had Expel cover the front fascia. Later I ceramic coated the whole car.

The ceramic coating is a slick sealant. Expel doesn’t stick very well if to put it on top of the ceramic coating. You can verify with Expel experts.
