Btw, “like the real ones”? The real ones had 377 cu in until GM took back those engines when Zora gave away the cars and then got 427 cu in. Two had their roofs cut off. A few other things changed. So what is real?

C1 of Year Finalist (performance mods) 2019
It used to, but was scraping the ground sometimes and decided to do something different. It’s my racecar version of the C2 Mako Shark. Here’s how it looked early summer with white side pipe. I have personalized all of my Corvettes; everyone knows they’re mine when they see one of them; they’re all one-offs.

This is all true. Those cars went through many changes and were rolling test beds for Zora and his crew.

No excuse or statement needed, it is your car. I have never owned a stock anything. If you dont have vision keep her stock.
Always make it yours. Nice ride.

The second or third owner of a GS tribute car or restomod is the place to be from a financial standpoint in my humble opinion. First owner or builder usually takes a hit even with the high end B-J examples at $200k+ if you look at the all in costs.

K&N air cleaners restrict air flow and hurt performance too much for my taste. My Grand Sport runs without any kind of air cleaners:
