Actually our 116 cam is cut on valve train friendly lobes that are designed to preserve valve train longevity.
Some cam lobes beat up the valve train while others are not so aggressive and help...

But what I have noticed on high rpm applications and stock rockers is that the stock rockers move around alot which you will see evidence...

hands down the best LS rockers you can run unless you go with a true shaft mount roller rocker setup like Jesel, Crower or T&D

GM never did fix the problem with the LS7 heads thats for sure. Even the Crate LS7s that they sold (or still sell?) to this day have head issue.

AI makes an excellent product but so do we.
I have had a few sets of AI heads come through our shop over the years and believe me we took them apart...

It is cut on VERY valve train friendly lobes and is not a high lift cam by any means. Sorta designed to be a GM Hot...

Out of spec just means that, out of spec. It doesn't mean that they will necessarily drop a valve...

Look into out 116 cam (stage 1.5 cam) also. Its a very close to the Katech old 116 cam but cut on much softer lobes so it does not beat the tar out of the valve train like their 116 does.
