If your looking at 11's with 38mm offset then get a set of AFS rims. I run them on my 85 with 0 problems. They make the right offset.

It happened to me in my 85. I had changed the oil to 10-30 high mileage Mobil 1 since they were out of 5-30 regular M1. It continued until I changed back to standard 5-30 M1. The problem has stopped....
