I wish. I'm not mechanical at all so I'm going to have to pay to resolve the problem. If a battery will fix the problem it's the cheapest way out.

Thank you for the information. Your right I didn't understand the battery readings. I've heard that replacing your battery makes the issue go away.

I might go that route.

Add Techron to your tank and fill it up with 93 octane and it should work again. I had the problem last month and this fixed it.

I thought GM made the sound loud as part its plan for the future. They knew that a whole bunch of old guys would be buying c5s and they didn't want us to embarrass ourselves driving down the road...
