Default First coat of wax on new ride!

I can't believe I got the opportunity to wash and wax my car in the middle of February in Montana! I just bought this 2004 Coupe a couple of weeks ago and thought it would be quite awhile before I would be able to give it some TLC, but God blessed us with some sunny, dry days and I took full advantage. I didn't have time to do a complete detail, but I got to a lot of it. I used Meguires NXT and just hand buffed it.

Beautiful ride you've got - and great job on the detailing.

I took those photos an hour or so ago and we are supposed to get 2-5 inches of snow this afternoon yet. Whew! And at the moment the wind is gusting 70mph. I guess I'm not in Oz anymore...

The Meguires went on really easy and I am wondering if it was because of the cool temperature (about 48 degrees). Buffing it out was easy too. That's the first time I used it and I like it!

Nope. Meguires always goes on easy and comes off just as easy. Lasts long too. I washed my baby today - no time for a wax. Still got the beading action.

Looks great! That is one of my favorite colors.

I also use Meguires NXT and it always comes off easy. It seems like it is easier if you let if sit a while before buffing it off. I finish applying it to the whole car before I start taking it off.

I was impressed with the wax too. It really brings out the color, and what really impressed me is that bugs would simply wipe off during a car wash without scrubbing or anything.

Quite a difference in weather from clear blue sky to snow cover in just a few hours. (I like the clear blue better, and I'm ready for spring.)

Congratulations, you are now a waxer! Now all you need is a set of Lloyds mats!

That's what I did; waxed everything including the wheels, let it sit for a couple of hours (had to because of the temperature) and then buffed it and you're right, it came off easy. Nice stuff.
